One product, three jobs
What you searched. What you decided. What you pulled out.
- Searches
- Every search, with what it returned The database, the string, the date and the number of records, so the counts in your flow diagram come from somewhere.
- Decisions
- Include or exclude, with the reason One decision per record against your own criteria, kept where a second reviewer and a supervisor can both read it.
- Extraction
- The matrix, and what fed it The columns you decided to pull from every source, so the synthesis is a reading across a table rather than a memory of PDFs.
Why not just a reference manager?
A reference manager holds citations and PDFs beautifully and knows nothing about your method. Keep it. This is the layer it has no field for.
- What it stores
- Calibvo Searches, screening decisions with reasons, and extracted data
- A reference managerCitations, PDFs, tags and folders
- Why a record was excluded
- Calibvo A reason against the record, which is what a flow diagram counts
- A reference managerA folder called excluded, if you made one
- Two reviewers screening the same set
- Calibvo Both sets of decisions kept, and where they disagreed
- A reference managerA shared library, and a conversation
- Built for
- Calibvo Producing a review you can be asked to justify
- A reference managerCiting what you have already decided to cite
We do not print other tools' prices here, because several quote per institution after a conversation and a figure we cannot check is not evidence. Our own is on the page: $19 a month for one reviewer, cancel when the review is submitted. Keep your reference manager either way; this is not a replacement for one.

Calibvo Pro keeps the searches, the screening decisions and the extraction the matrix was built from
The arithmetic is free for good. Pro is what happens after it: the searches you ran, the records each returned, the include and exclude decision on every one with its reason, and the extraction the matrix was built from.
